Jeep Safari
It’s a brilliant, fun (dirty) day out..and good value too. It cost approx. 30 lira which isn’t bad considering it starts at roughly 9.30am until 5.30pm, lunch included (you usually have to pay for your drinks).
You will be picked up by the jeep guides around 9.30am and headed to the National Park, stopping off at a supermarket along the way to buy drinks and munches ready for the four hour jeep ride around National Park ahead of you.

When you get to the National Park, they stop the jeeps and gather you all around to tell you what the itinerary for the day is.
There are lots of stops along the way, the first being a high point where the jeeps stop and you can shout and listen to the Echo echo echo echo echo all around the National Park mountains.
Along the way you stop (mainly to just fill up the bottles with water, ready for the next attack) and then you come to a waterfall where you can swim and jump off rocks into the water.
The next stop is a beautiful old monastery, where the guides tell you information about the area and photographer climbs on to the roof and takes a photograph from the hole in the top, which you can purchase at the end of the day…
The view from the top of the mountain was simply amazing. blue skies, luscious green trees and mountains all around, with such a perfect view of the coastline that it was impossible to capture the sheer beauty of it on camera…
After that you start heading back down the mountain towards Guzelcamli where you stop and have a lunch of Pide in a Turkish cafe.
The Cave of Zeus is next on the itinery, where you can swim in the beautiful, sparkling clear, deep mineral water inside the cave. To the mythology, Zeus used to swim inside, with the beautiful girls of the village, hiding from his jealous wife, Hera.
It’s absolutely freezing and you can see your breath when you enter the cave, but it’s a lovely experience. They say that if you swim in the mineral water and don’t turn into Kusadasi’s Next Top Model, you get a refund. The entire jeep tour is still waiting for their money.
