Must Do’s in Kusadasi
We at the Kusadasi Forums have discussed the “Must Do’s” and now we have a decent list.
- Visit a Turkish Bath (One by Bar street)
- Try and spend more than an hour in Bar Street
- Go to the Turkish Night held in the beautiful Caravanserail
- Eat in a traditional Turkish restaurant
- Go on a boat trip
- Visit the National Park
- Eat as much Gozleme as humanly possible
- Visit the Ancient City of Ephesus
- Visit Selcuk
- Visit Izmir
- Visit Pamukkale, one of the most extraordinary natural wonders in Turkey, and bathe in Cleopatra’s Pool with its hot, natural, mineral waters
- Go to Sirince (an old Greek village set up high on the mountains above Selcuk) for the spectacular views and buy some of the delicious fruit wines there
- Relax with a caramel cappaccino in Starbucks, then go around the corner and buy some of the fabulous crystal handmade jewellery.
- Shopping til you drop at the bazaars and market. They sell all sorts of stuff, not only fake designer clothes but things such as leather-made products, silver, jewelry, textile, handmade plates, Turkish embroideries, fake designer clothes, bags, and sunglasses
- Dine in Rosy’s restaurant with the sun setting in the background.
- Silver Sands beach, the cushions on the beds are 6 inches deep, drinks are served on the beach and if your energetic, lots of watersports
- Watch the wonderful sunset at Ladies beach whilst enjoying a delicious meal.
- Go on a full day/half day Horse Safari
- Visit Adaland and watch the amazing Dolphin show

Hi and thanks for the information on the must dos whilst vising Turkey. In the past 3 years when i have visited Kusadasi i have achieved quite alot of the above but when i go back in May i think i will try to do them.
Going back to Kusadasi in July.
Spent hours in Bar Street last year. Turkish food is fab. Boat trips are great. National park is very restful.
Ephesus is amazing so is Pammukkale. Selcuk and Sirince are beautiful. Shopping is exhilarating. The sunset at Ladies beach is breathtaking
hi ya!!!
My friend and I are going tp kusadasi on 17th June 2007. Just wanted to know how much it costs and how to get to Ephesus?
Thanks
Rachel
The 20th ‘must do’ in Kusadasi is to get a cocktail in one of the nice restaurants in the centrum and to take time to chat to the waiters and get to know them. They will answer all your questions and make your holliday special. Where? Anatolia restaurant: great food, perfect ambiance at any time, very clean, not expensive, on the corner of Kahramanlar Street (next to Bar Street).
hi we are par from macedonia and we want to go kusadasi from 26 avgust to 01 septemvri se nadevame ke bidit mnogu ubavo i novo i nezaboravno iskustvo za nas
ve sakame
we love you kusadasi
Quite intimidated through the whole visit. Between almost mafia tactics on the rugs and jewellery showing I was then harrassed because I wore silver.Plenty of young men were willing to sell me silver but I would have been better off buying from the markets as we arrived.Plenty of young men selling whatever they pick up on that you are looking for - esp silver in my case.I had to run back to the cruise feeling like I was going to miss the boat.
