Basterizler started it’s commercial life by buying and selling white goods in the 1940s.

Basterziler now produces it’s own brand of furniture, Vitello, in Izmir – Sarnic with a 20.000 square meter factory, adding great value to the Turkish economy.

Since 1980, Basterziler has it’s own shop of more than 6500 square meters selling furniture and durable goods in Kusadasi.

We pride ourselves on quality, value and service.

I can vouch for this shop. We furnished our house with them and had the most efficient service that I have ever had!!! Couldn’t believe it.

The manager, Ertan, speaks excellent English (which helps) and he helped us choose just want we needed from his seven, yes seven, floors of good quality furniture and white goods. He assured us that he would organise everything for the following day. Having had mixed success in the past with claims of next day delivery and general organisation, we didn’t hold our breath. But we were proved wrong…

The next morning the chaps arrived at 10am to install the satellite dish (the only hitch being that, at first, they thought it would be a good idea to run the cable down the chimney – but I soon pointed out the problem with that!). At 11:30 the furniture van turned up with the TV and all the furniture. The TV was set up and tuned for us before those guys left. The furniture delivery men were of Herculeon strength, frequently hoisting wardrobes out side the house, onto the first floor balconies and then into the rooms. They cheerfully carried the washing machine up two flights of stairs on their backs. They were friendly, polite and very efficient. We offered them refreshments which they refused, it being Ramadan.

After lunch the service team appeared to hook up the washing machine and other white goods. They stamped all the guarantees, made sure everything worked, explained the instructions to us and left. Very impressive. I don’t think that we have ever had such efficiency, good humour and hard work – even in the UK, or anywhere else it the world we have lived, for that matter!

We too bought all our furnishings and white goods from Basterziler, quality is excellent, prices reasonable and service is second to none. Our experience was pretty much the same as that on the previous comment except we dealt with Aydin (who also happens to be a long time friend). For the Electrical goods Ertan was the man though, and helped us select everything we needed, he even visited our house with Aydin to verify everything we wanted would fit where we wanted it (you wouldn’t get that in a lot of places)

Delivery/installation was exactly when quoted (pretty much to the minute) and we didn’t need to hang around home all day waiting; they just asked when we would be back home and on our answer said the delivery guys would be there 30 minutes after that time (and they were). All in all, a pleasurable shopping experience for someone who hates shopping.

I too can agree with both of above, we bought quite a few pieces of furniture and the service and delivery were excellent, we had the man with ropes from our roof terrace in order to get a wardrobe into our sons bedroom but all done with a smile and not a mark on anything. would definitely recommend them. steve.

p.s the choice is superb too.

I went to this shop 2 weeks ago and purchased all my living room furniture. i went to many other shops first including the spot shops, and this was my favourite shop, and it was not much more expensive than the cheap shops. Service and quality was great. Delivery was only 2 hours late, and for turkey that is good. I had made to measure furniture too, one of which was a coffee table which i measured wrong and was more like a dining table, they tried to tell me, but i thought i knew best, so i will be back again june and buy a standard one. great shop.
